1. What day is trash/recycling pick up?
- Trash pick up is every Wednesday and Saturday, with recycling pick up only being on Saturdays. The containers need to be curbside by 7 am of the respective morning of pick up. Waste should be placed in cart, personal trash cans between 20 and 96 gallons and under 50 pounds, or sturdy bags not exceeding 50 pounds. Yard waste should be bagged or placed in cans not exceeding 50 pounds. Bagged yard waste should be placed curbside next to cart. Branches should be placed curbside in bundles measuring no more than 4′ x 4′ x 4′ and under 50 pounds. Limit 8 bundles per service day. Place all your recyclables loose in the cart provided by WCA Waste Corporation. Overflow material may be placed in old recycling bins, bags, boxes, or containers clearly labeled RECYCLE.
2. Is there a bulk trash pick up?
- Bulk trash is collected every Wednesday and Saturday. WCA Waste Corporation will collect two heavy trash/bulk items per service day. Items include furniture, appliances, carpeting (tied and bundled), fencing (nails removed, tied and bundled under 4′ in length), and other items not disposed of regularly. Items should be curbside.
3. Are there any watering restrictions?
- Water for the Venetian community is supplied by North Collin Special Utility District. Current water restrictions include:
- NO outside water use or irrigation between 10:00 am — 6:00 pm.
- No outside use of irrigation on Monday, Tuesday and Friday.
- Even numbered addresses (ending with 0,2,4,6,8) water on Sunday and Thursday
- Odd numbered addresses (ending with 1,3,5,7,9) water on Saturday and Wednesday
4. If I am concerned about street parking or someone is blocking my driveway, who do I call?
- The streets of Venetian are governed by the local municipality, which is Weston, TX. If you have a concern about street parking in the neighborhood, or any kind of question/concern, please call the non-emergency number at (972) 382-1001.
5. When are assessments due?
- Assessments are due in full as of January 1st, with a 30 day grace period. Please contact the HOA office if you would like to know your balance specifically.
6. How would I go about getting approval to install a shed/playground/pool or other change on my property?
- Please download the Architectural Change Request form located under HOA > Documents > Architectural Guidelines > ACC Form and fill that out and send the completed form to info@guardianam.com.
